In this context-specific solo exhibition at the Frankfurt branch of Sotheby's, where goods are valued and prepared for auction, Romina Abate develops an installation featuring found objects, staged photography and physical actions. Based on the „Philosophy of Money" (Georg Simmel), she raises questions about the presentation of goods, supply and demand, relationships and trade routes, as well as the trade of art and luxury goods. The exhibition responds to the site and the performative situation that it communicates.
