Das Meer hat viele Ufer

Kunsthalle Willingshausen, 2014

I developed these installations during my 3-months stay in the former painters colony Willingshausen, a tiny village in the north of Hesse, Germany. The works consist of diverse findings, books from the library and furniture of the place, articles out of a seafaring dictionary, photography, drawings and material from the hardware store. The works combine impressions and themes of the place with terms and metaphors from the seafaring context.
